I was first licenced in 1968 and lived at that time in Sidcup, Kent (near SE London)

Most of my radio related equipment is home built and I can operate on the following bands: 136 kHz, 472 kHz, 160m , 80m, 60m, 40m, 30m, 20m and 10m  - mainly on CW

The aerial is a 40 m end fed inverted 'L' at an average height of 9 m and I use this for all non-VHF bands.  For receiving LF and MF I use a small active loop.

WSPR signals are occasionally transmitted on both MF and LF using home built transmitters.  EIRP is approximately 0.5W on MF and 30 mW on LF

I also have a home brewed DSB WSPR TX which when fed from my signal generator can transmit on MF, 160, 80 or 60m with 250 mW of 'useful' sideband.

I have established a /A station at the QTH of G6XDK about one mile away and where the ambient noise level is much lower.     An Alinco DX77 transceiver is installed there with another 40m end fed aerial.
