I have been a licensed ham since 1959, while in high school, starting with the Novice license, KN4FNX. I have operated from various parts of the country and from Heidelburg,Germany as DL4GG. In the Washington, D.C. Metropolitian area, I held the second station call sign of WA3ILS for several years until the FCC disallowed the practice. At that time I reverted back to my original call of K4FNX. I hold the Amateur Extra License and First Class Telephone Commercial License with Radar Endorsement. CompTIA Network+ Certified Professional. I am a life member of the ARRL, a life member of OMIK Amateur Radio Association, life member of The Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers (IEEE), member of the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE), American Legend Amateur Radio Club (Post #275), and a member of the Capital City Amateur Radio Society (CCARS).
