QSLs : I prefer the paperless (and inexpensive) LoTW or eQSL(AG) ,
but I will also respond to your direct paper QSL.

If QSLing direct, please include an SAS
E or,
if DX, an SAE & 2 Greenstamps.

I was first licensed in 1958 as WA2HTW. After returning from overseas in the Air Force, I was relicensed as WA3EFU, but I had to lapse because of work considerations. In 2007, I was relicensed as AJ4DY. However, I couldn't live in Dixie as AJ4 Delta YANKEE, so I opted for a vanity call with my initials.

My primary rig is a Yaesu FTdx5000 for SSB. I have an Icom IC-7300 for digital. Both rigs can access an Expert 1K-FA linear for up to a kilowatt. My antennas are two 80-10 M OCF dipoles and a 160-10 M OCF dipole in the trees.

I operate all HF bands on SSB, digital (mostly PSK-31, JT65, FT8 and RTTY) and some CW. I like to participate in contests and work DX. I have DXCC (Phone, Digital and 20 M), WAS (Phone, Digital, RTTY, FT8 and 20 M (Phone & Digital)) and CQ's WPX (both mixed and digital).

I'm a member of PODXS 070, Digital Modes Club (DMC), British Amatuer Radio Teledata Group (BARTG),  European PSK Club (EPC) and the Florida Contest Group (FCG). I'm active with public relations, emcomm and am an ARRL Volunteer Examiner. My XYL is K4EAZ.

I had an active career starting as an intelligence analyst, followed by "other careers" as an information systems manager, training manager and technical writer. I finished off by owning my own management consulting company for 12 years, from which I retired in 2002 at the young age of 59 when work got in the way of enjoying life.

During my retirement, I became a Master Gardener and have performed as an amateur actor both on stage and in films. I have traveled through all 49 continental US states and 7 Canadian provinces with an RV and have visited our 50th state by air. Lately, I have slowed down some to mostly chasing DX and operating in contests.
