I earned a Novice/Tech ham in 1962 (WN8FDB/WA8PEJ). Upgraded to General/Advanced (WA8PEJ) in 1974, and Extra in 1975. My father (K8VEB) passed away in 1972, and I upgraded to Extra and was able to get my fathers call.
I served in the U.S. Army for 10 years in the hight speed data communications.
Worked for the State of Michigan for 32 years as a Main Frame Computer Operator.

I am a 220 MHz and 440 MHz repeater owner. The first 440 MHz repeater went on-line in 1987. The new Yeasu System Fusion repeater went online in 2014 and is on 443.350 MHz (PL 00 Hz). The Yeasu repeater is both analog and digital (C4FM). The 224.66 (PL 100 Hz) Bridgecom repeater went on line November 2016.
