Hello everyone !!

My name is Jorge E Villarreal.,    KC6CHL

Many thanks to everyone for visiting my humble QRZ.com Page.
Broadcasting the waves to the World, from the city of Van Nuys in the state of California, U.S.A.
Returning to the radio after a lapse of being inactive in the HF bands, but returning with much encouragement to be able to contact many of you around the world.
Making the different modalities of SSB, CW, DIGITALS and many more.

Interface :

My working conditions are for the moment:
Tranceiver: ICOM IC-725                                   Kenwood TS-430s

ntenna: GAP Eagle DX      40M to 10M  and homebrew Inverted "V" for 20M.

Recently I installed the Vertical antenna from which you can see some images of the moment of preparation and installation .

My beginnings in the Radio began in the mid-70's, when one of my Uncles was already in the hobby and for the interest he gave me to learn the beginnings.
This was in the Civil Band which a contact at a distance of two blocks, for me was an achievement that surprised me to know that I was using the radio without antenna for lack of knowledge in the field.

Later in an afternoon I was already making some contacts on SSB in the Civil Band and a Friend approached me and he asked me what I was doing , which I answered very proudly, I'm talking to South America by this radio.
Then he asked me, Do you like radio communication? To which I answered yes why ..?
And he answered me, but not knowing that he was licensed amateur radio
If you like this hobby I can teach you more of this nice and entertaining hobby. Immediately he made an invitation to his house to see the radios and antenna installations and some of the communications that he could do around the world with those systems.
So since then, I started to save some money to buy my first amateur radio that I bought at a flea market during a Radio Amateur Convention in my hometown of Morelia, Michoacan., Mexico , where all this brief History began .
Now for some years now , emigrate to the United States of America and through time I became a Citizen of this beautiful Country.
I now live in the city of Van Nuys, California, in company of my Beautiful Family that I have, Wife and two children, a Boy and a Girl.
I also want to say that I work as a Carpenter in commercial works and installation of Cabinets, Panels for Hospital Schools, Jails , Police Stations, Fire Stations and some works in Conventions Centers, such as the Convention Center of San Jose, Ca., Pomoma, Ca. and several other places.
Well, for the moment is what I thought I can tell you, I hope I have not bored you, I will be updating this QRZ page with something new.
See you soon and thanks for the visit, have a wonderful day.

73's and I hope to hear everyone in frequency.
