Thanks for stopping by to check out my listing. I was first licensed in 1982 as KA7POF. My Elmer, WB0KSW, is still very active in the Las Vegas, NV area.

Upon moving up to Phoenix from Tucson, I upgraded my CW and theory to obtain my Advanced class license, which I held for many years. I passed my Extra exam in February, 2012.

Antennas consist of a K4KIO Hexbeam mounted on a roof tripod, as well as a recylcled and rebuilt Cushcraft R-7 vertical for 40-10m. It's mounted on the roof about 15' above the ground.  The radio  is a Flex 6300, with assistance from an Elecraft KPA-500 and KAT-500.

I really enjoy DX, chasing 6 m contacts and experiment with the digital modes. JT65 seems to be the mode of choice for 6m these days.

I do welcome cards direct or via the Bureau, and will respond in kind but prefer LoTW.
