Current station consists of a Icom 7300 driving an Ameritron ALS-600 into a 130' home brew multi-band OCF dipole at approximately 20 feet (7 meters). The antenna is matched via LDG AT-600Pro tuner. I've been running between 10 and 40 watts for digital work, mostly around 30 watts. Software is HRD 6.x with WSJT-X plus JT Alert for JT modes. It's definitely the lazy man's way to enter multiple logs.
I've been interested in amateur radio since I first entered a neighbor's shack at age 10. All those knobs, dials, meters and a touch of ozone had an instant effect. Luckily the operator was a patient guy. He let me hang around frequently and pester him with questions. I didn't act on this interest until after my retirement. I'm just getting into digital modes (old dog, new tricks), but enjoying the learning curve.
Hope to run into you again down the log.
Effective 1 January 2017 I upload 100% of my log into QRZ, HRDlog.net, LOTW and eQSL.
