Thanks for visiting my page! I got my first amateur radio license in 1975 with the novice callsign wn4nqi, about 1 year later I upgraded to advanced with the callsign changed to wa4nqi, in 1979 I upgraded again to extra and was issued the callsign KO4O.

I have enjoyed many aspects of amateur radio but cw has always been my number one priority. From late 1970's until the mid 1990's I was very active on amsat oscar ao6 ao7 and ao13 satellites, during that same time I ran a lot of rtty on the famous model 28 rtty terminal.

Kit building and antenna building is another phase of amateur radio that I have enjoyed, I have built many kits from Heathkit to the latest softrock sdr transceivers and many different types of antennas.

The Antenna system is a Mosley ta 33 at 60 feet, three windom antennas pointed north, east and south up about 35 feet. 1 longwire 210 feet long, 1 dipole for 40 meters, 1 hustler 5btv vertical up at 20 feet.

The heart of the above station is a TenTec Eagle controlled by N1MM and N4PY in the bottom console. The top screen is the rsp1 sdr using SDRuno software.

The station below is the TenTec Argonaut 6 Qrp transceiver along with the ldg tuner.I enjoy qrp as much as any other aspect of amateur radio.

The below station is my digital station, the heart of it is the TenTec Paragon, along with the 238 tuner.

The station below is my main high power station, The TenTec Omni vi plus and TenTec jupiter are my transceivers into a  TenTec titan 425 amplifier followed by a Nye Viking mb-5 tuner. Above right is a ft 620 six meter rig and TenTec rebel qrp.
