Hi,

I have been licensed since 1998 first as M1DTL and then got my HF licence in May 2000 as M5JVW, then become M0JVW in October 2001.

I use an Icom ID E880 for 2m/70cm mobile analogue and D Star, in the shack I use an Icom 706 MK 11G with an MFJ 929 auto tuner and a "Western HF 10" multiband trap dipole for HF phone and digi modes.

Also an Ascom SE 550 for 4m FM, an Icom ID 51 handie for the local D Star repeater and a Motorola DM 4600 for DMR simplex and repeaters.

I usually carry various handhelds with me for 23cm FM, 4m pmr and DMR which I use if near a hilltop at lunchtime, also have been doing some HF mobile with the 706 and my KNQ-7A 10w 40m LSB kit transceiver, would like to do more HF mobile.

Also I like to use some older transceivers on various bands, Yaesu FT101E, Trio TR2300 + VB2300 10w amp, Mizuho SB2M for 2m SSB and lastly a Trio TR8400G for 70cm. Nice and nostalgic using these radios !.
