About Me:

I started my interest in radio in the early 1980's when I was 10 years old, using CB radio, listening to Short Wave, and monitoring Emergency Services transmissions at the top of the VHF Broadcast Band (long before they all went digital). Through contacts on CB Radio, I met a number of Amateur Radio Operators. In 1998, after spending time in the RAF working on RADAR (electronics), I finally got round to doing my RAE (self study) - followed by my morse test in 2002.

I am active on HF, 6m, 2m and 70cm (and LEO Sats) - FM, SSB, DSTAR, and Digital Modes including PSK31/63/125, RTTY, WSPR, JT65, MSK144 and CW. QSL via eQSL (AG) or QRZ.

Still to do in Amateur Radio: EME (Earth-Moon-Earth) Moonbouncing using SSB/Voice.
