My name is William, I am a keen HF and a 2m operator. I run a succesful fuel business and horse livery business in the city of lisburn. I live 11 and half miles southwest of belfast capital city of Northern Ireland. I passed my foundation exam on the 16th june 2012.

These are my solar panels, 26 in all. They generate 6.5KVA.



Frustrated with the lack of intermediate course's that would fit around my busy work schedule and inspired by a talk given by guest speaker philip hosey MI0MSO at a MUARC presentation I applied to sit the comreg amateur radio exam in dublin. The Irish exam is a two part paper, if passed is the equivalent of our full call sign here in the U.K. With my pass certificate I was able to apply to ofcom for a reciprocal full licence which they granted my full U.K call sign, I also hold a full Irish call sign listed below.

I also run a family oil and solid fuel business which was established in 1930 by my grandfather Thomas Lenard Greer, hence my callsign MI0TLG.
