I am a retired medical researcher from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. I also spent 18 years with the Naval Sea Cadet Corps in Cleveland, Ohio. I retired as the Commanding Officer of Cleveland Division in December 2013. I am currently the Second Vice President for the West Chester Amateur Radio Association. WCARA is part of the National Voice of America Museum of Broadcasting located at the old VOA Bethany Relay Station operating under callsign WC8VOA. 

I am currently running a Yaesu FT-991 into a Hy-Gain AV-620 and a EFHW 80-10. I operate on JT-65 at 20 watts on 20, 30 and 40 meters mostly. QSL through eQSL, direct or the bureau.

This is one of the operating positions for the West Chester Amateur Radio Association at the National Voice of America Broadcast Museum located at the old VOA Bethany Relay Station north of Cincinnati. The club operates under WC8VOA callsign. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I am at the the old VOA Master Control for the six transmitters at the Bethany Relay Station just north of Cincinnati. It is now part of the National Voice of American Museum.
