Member of PI4CC Contest Club.
I enjoy (mainly) HF contesting and a contest location is a nice place to be, when you are restricted to install big antennas at your own location and are living in a man-made noise area, which seems to increase.

And it is a nice way to learn new things related to the hobby.

Participating in CQ WW / WPX / IARU / PACC / RSGB IOTA contests etc... (different modes)

Guest operator at: PI4DX (CQ WW + WPX SSB)

My QTH (loc. JO21DV) is situated between Rotterdam and Hook of Holland along the river Nieuwe Waterweg (New Waterway), which is the entrance to the well-known Port of Rotterdam.

At this river, you will find also an unique and impressive storm surge barrier, which can be closed when strong wind with high water level are reached and can cause flooding, because the Rotterdam-Rijnmond area is situated below sea-level.

Other hobbies are : motordriving (currently Suzuki DL-650 V-Strom, 2008) and atletics (not fanatic right now, but did run a few half marathons in the past).

I am also member of VERON section A-59

My V-Strom

Radio Stad Den Haag

one of my favorite radiostations (Italo, dance etc.) from the past and still alive (via internet now).
