Greetings from Canada my name is James I`m 30 years old and im a fairly new ham I was liscensed in March of 2014 with my basic with honors which gives me full acces to the spectrum (Advanced as of 2017)

I`m quite involved in the hobby and you will find me on all the bands which inclue 2m / 6m and 70cm you will also find me on 10-80 meters

I work some sat's primarily so-50

and you will find me on hf modes such as rtty, psk31, and one of my more personal favorites jt65 and now primarily on ft8 i do try and make voice contacts from time to time but the noise floor at my qth is about a s6-7 on a good day so it can be difficult unless your a american station running a lot of fire down the wire

a bit about me like i said im 30 years old and im a mechanic by trade (have since left this career path). And am now working as a chemist for a hazerdous waste disposal facility lol i know big jump.

And this is James ! as you can see my main station is a ic-7000 (Which has since been upgraded now to a IC-7300)

This is my primary antenna i will use now as you can see it is a tri band beam more specfically a th3jr at about 38 feet on top of that is a v/u vertical :)

This is my cushcraft R5 vertical i will often use this for multiband digital modes as it is very susceptable to local QRM

Now have a 40m wire dipole run as well !

I use a 20m wire dipole to work most my jt65 (now as well as the vertical new addition summer 2015!)

and if you look close i have a g5rv running front to back of the property above the shed

tram 1480 2x 5/8 on vhf and 5x on UHF

homemade 6m dipole

and lastly a buddipole i use for portable work :)

but i also use the g5rv you probally cant see in the background to work the other bands

Oh gosh can you guess which room is the shack !

ic-7000 for portable and base ssb phone

All The squeezed onto this tiny tiny city Lot ! is a challange ! but very very do able  !

ft-8800r for a base dual band

Lastly I try to qsl EVERYONE but as you can imagine with modes like jt65 where it is a quick exchange of reports this can add up VERY quickly cost wise so if you would like a qsl card i would really appreciate a donation for the postage it's not needed but im a pretty poor ham and i sincerly beleive all contacts should be confirmed via qsl it's one of the best parts of the hobby if you ask me I will still send you a qsl card regardless but if you could help offset the cost it would be greatly appreciated

and remember if it does not have the JGF seal shown below it's a fake ! i wax seal all my cards ! not only is it a touch of nostalgia but it's classy :)
