Howard - W4HTP

Base, is a Icom 756 Pro III, MFJ-998 IntelliTuner, Ameritron AL-800 HF amp, MFJ Audio DSP, Butternut HF9V antenna and homebrew 5kw 80-6M OCF dipole. In addition, for 2M/70cm base I use a Kenwood TS-790A, RM Italy LA250 2M amp (not pictured), Cushcraft 215WB 15 element 2M beam @ 40', Diamond X510HD dual band omni @ 55'.

I almost forgot my "raised from the dead" Henry Uniden Tempo 2020.

SDR station, Dell Optiplex 760 USFF with Linux Mint, 4GB memory, 2 TB Hybrid SSD SATA hard drive. The HF (.1-30 MHz) SDR is a AFEDRI-SDR-NET (LAN connected) and using SDR Radio console and server. Stuck in the face of the Dell is a Newsky RM R820T SDR tuner USB dongle for 24-1750 MHZ using SDR Sharp software. It is pretty cool to watch 2 MHz of band at once on the waterfall and with the AFEDRI, record every QSO in 2 MHz of band for playback later. The hanging black box is an antenna isolation switch to the HF SDR to prevent burrning up the front end of the SDR when I am transmitting in the Icom IC756 Pro III. This equipment is all in a locked cabinet under my desk, since all control is done via keyboard, mouse and monitor.

Mobile, I use a Icom 706MkIIG all band, all mode radio with Little Tarheel II 80-6M HF antenna interfaced to the Icom via a Turbo Tuner screwdriver antenna controller and Comet CSB-790A dual band antenna on my truck. In 2016, added a Kenwood V71 to the mobile (still have 706 in trk). The V71 is run at 5w output and drives a 100 watt VHF amplifier into the CSB-790A antenna.

HTs, Kenwood TH-F6A, Wouxun UV8D, Baofeng UF-F8+ 2M/70cm radios with Baofeng 3800 mAh battery and Nagoya NA-701,Nagoya NA-771 or Pryme AL-800 antennas.
QRP, I run a Yaesu FT-817ND backpack radio, LDG Z-817H tuner, RM Italy LA-144 2M amp and QRP 45 HF amp in a portable kit that allows me to set up remotely for low power HF, 2M & 70cm. I have multiple field antennas for this backpack rig, but leave a Nagoya NA-771 on the BNC for 2M/70cm operation from the pack.
HF digital modes and have that capability via a Dell Vostro laptop and SignaLink USB for the Icom IC-756 Pro III base and SignalLink connected to Kenwood TS-790A and Wolfi interface for the FT-817ND QRP rig. I use FLDIGI and other digital mode software, on my Linux desktop or a dedicated Dell laptop. Recently started using DroidPSK with the Wolfi hardware interface on my Nexus 10 tablet and Samsung S5 phone. APRS is via Mobilinkd KISS TNC on Wouxun HT using APRSdroid app.

I have emergency generator(s), solar and battery backup (450 Ah) for all of my base, mobile and QRP operations.
