As a result in my interests in Emergency Communications, I got my Tech, then my General in 2012. I am an active member of the Auburn Area Emergency Communications Team, and served as Team Leader through 2013, 2014, & 2016.

When at home and the radio is on, I'm monitoring our local 2m repeater at 147.24 + 123hz, and usually have 146.52 simplex available to respond to CQ's and SOTA activations.

I am on Winlink at this call sign, and check the mailbox at least weekly.

When I'm out-and-about, I'll listen in on the Auburn Repeater, the HJR repeater (444.65 +131.8), or the national 2 meter calling frequency, 146.52.

I am the trustee for WA7AUB, which is the club call sign for the Auburn Area Communications Team.  I invite you to visit the QRZ page for WA7AUB to learn more about the team.

*UPDATE* I earned my EXTRA License privileges on July 18, 2015.

My former call sign was KF7WPY.
