Thank you for visiting! I have been involved with the hobby for the last 48 years and as many of us, some years more then others. I was first licensed in 1968 as WN9YZX, along with my dad WN9YZW (SK), who was my biggest supporter and the reason for me learning CW and me pursuing getting my license. Not being very active over the last 20 years or so, I found my interest slowly returning in 2010. My main interests are 20 and 15 meter CW and SSB, in that order, mostly DX'ing when conditions are right, with some contesting mixed in, although not very competitively.

My station is modest, using equipment 30+ years old, such as my Yaseu FT-707 mostly for CW and my DrakeTR4 and Swan 500 for SSB. Antennas are usually and are currently dipoles at modest heights of under 30'. You must say, it does increase the challenge of DX'ing!

I do appreciate your visit today and either our contact or your listening to the mail. See you on the air !!

73 and Good DX'ing. Dennis / W9DTO.
