My YouTube Channel

I have a YouTube channel where I have posted some videos. Most of them are about the N4PY Pegasus Plus software that I use to control my Ten Tec OMNI VII transceiver, but there are other videos on different subjects.

Videos:

N4PY Software Demonstration

Operating CW using the N4PY software

Operating the KPA500 amplifier using the N4PY software

Operating PSK-31 using the N4PY software

Connecting N4PY software to hardware and other software

I use Logic logging software. I haven't seen too much information about Logic except from the vendor so I thought I would provide a short introduction to the software. In the future I plan to demonstrate different functions and features of the software.

History

I was first licensed as a Novice in 1971 and my call sign was WN4UPI. My first station was a Heathkit DX-60 transmitter and an RME-6900 receiver.

I upgraded to Technician class and spent a lot of time on six meters which is still my favorite band. In 1979 I upgraded to General class.

Now

Today I use the N4PY software to operate a Ten Tec Omni VII transceiver. Other equipment includes an Elecraft KPA500 amplifier, Elecraft KAT500 automatic antenna tuner, LP-100A swr/watt meter, and SignaLink USB digital mode sound card.

I use a Winkeyer USB, Begali paddle, and Kent straight key for CW.

My antennas are a JK Antennas JK65 Yagi for six meters and wire antennas for 40, 20, and 30 meters. The antennas are supported on 40 feet of Rohn 25 tower with a Hazer installed for raising and lowering the antennas.
