I have been a licensed HAM since 1993. My original call was KD6IZR. Upon the death of my uncle, I applied for his call as my vanity callsign.
I operate a Motorola XPR5550 and Icom ID-5100 in my vehicle and use an IC-2820H as a base station in my home. I also have various portable radios including an Icom ID-51APlus2, Motorola XPR7550, Motorola SL7550, Kirisun DP770, Connect Systems CSI CS700, CSI750, Tytera MD-380, MD-390 and several others. I enjoy operating on 2M/70CM using analog, D-Star and DMR. I also operate DMR repeater 442.1325+ CC1 WB6EFW located in Ashburn, VA. The repeater is a Motorola XPR8400 MotoTRBO Repeater.
