Greetings and Thank You very much for looking me up. The QTH is Gans Oklahoma, about 20 miles straight west of Fort Smith Arkansas. Station is located on 5 1\2 acres on Wild Horse Mountain 3 miles from the Arkansas River 5 miles downstream from Robert Kerr Reservoir. 620ft up on a 800 ft hill above most of the surrounding terrain.
The main rig here is a Yaesu FT-950 that is usually running Barefoot but I do have an Old Henry amp the 1KD-5 that has been slightly modified, but still is a single 3-500z amplifier. I use it for pileups and tuff copy situations. The antenna for 10-20 meters is a Hy-Gain TH11DXX on a short Vintage Hy-Gain HBX tower@ 50ft. For 40 meters I am now experimenting with a Half Square wire curtain type antenna with two 1/4 wave vertical elements 1/2 wavelength apart. The vertical elements are only 9 ft. above the ground. Expecting to have the antenna raised to about 65ft. soon. All my 40m contacts since 11-24 -2016 have been made on this antenna and it seems to be a good DX antenna so far. Works great into Europe and Africa even being close to the ground. All the Best from EM25PK.

6 Meters 100w Max Power, 4 element homebrew yagi and a single loop @ 40ft.
This is me with my Other Hobby !! 2001 Harley Davidson FXD Dyna Superglide
Same machine with a 21" front wheel instead of the 19" that came stock on the bike
Me Again assembling the Boom of my early 1970's vintage Hy-Gain TH-6DXX with all New Stainless Hardware and all New Plastic Parts from MFJ/Hy-Gain. Antenna was rebuilt in the summer of '09 and put up on July 2nd of that year at the previous QTH in Colorado. Then I noticed that already some of my New trap boots have cracked and worked their way down one of the elements. It took approx. 6 months for this to happen. Wouldn't give you 50 cents for the hy-gain rebuild kit for this antenna. Too Bad the parts for the antenna aren't as good as the antenna it self. The TH-6 is a great antenna... picture 6/15/2009
Finally the TH-11 goes up on January 13th 2016. On the tower @50ft. Working well so far!
Beginning the assembly in the 35x50ft shop building.
Fully assembled at the base of the tower and ready to be installed.
On it's way up on the fold over tower.
An Oklahoma Stick Bug. Medium size. About 4 inches long
7 3 and thanks for looking me up !!
GL and Good DX !
