- Biography -

Born in 1974, Licensed 2006 as DO1AHR (german class E), Licensed 2008 as DH1TZ (german class A). Working as technician and software tester in a company for electrical safety.

- Membership -
DARC, Ortsverband/Local union: F17 (Wetterau)
(See F17-Video on Youtube: www.youtube.com/watch?v=TNsnfFU1HIY)

- QSL -
Please pay attention to my QSL policy:

  • Bureau:
QSL card can be sent via the bureau and will be answered
  • Direct:
If you send a QSL card directly by post, please don't add any IRCs, postage or money (pse save it for OMs in poor countrys). It is a pleasure for me to return my QSL card. Please add only a self-addressed envelope.
  • eQSL:
I dont use eQSL. It is possible to send me an eQSL (via eQSL.cc), because someone starts to send eQSLs and an account for me was created, but I do not answer eQSLs. I pay attention to received eQSLs and make notes in my log.
I am collecting paper QSLs, so if you want to change QSL card, please use the paper ones. It beats me down, if I see those halfhearted eQSL cards, which are using the standard format without any personal stuff and sometimes even without callsign!

Current QSL-Card (Edition 2013)

- Get the DH1TZ-Diploma -
Check out the DH1TZ DX-Pedition diploma! Do you have 3 QSOs (different years) with myself during one of my DX-Peditions in your log? Then request your DH1TZ diploma without any costs. Its just for fun. Just send me an extract of your log and you will receive the colored diploma. Be the first who will receive the diploma. As I can see in my log, there are at least two stations which are able to request the diploma. But there are a lot more stations - only one QSO is missing! ;-)

- Other bygone activities -
24.04.-30.09.2010: Operator on club-station DL0FH with special DOK "LGSF2010"

- SOTA -
One of the greatest 'inventions' of HAM radio is SOTA (Summits on the Air). It is great to be out in a fantastic nature and having a lot of nice contacts via HAM radio. But unfortunately my time is to rare for those SOTA activations :-(

SOTA-Activation of DM/HE-017 (Taufstein), you can see me operating with a FT-60 onVHF with an external GP-Antenna mounted on a fishing rod (No Hermann, its nota Tablet-PC! Its my paper log!) ;-)

See more pictures from SOTA activations on www.dh1tz.de (section SOTA, then click on the link "Meine SOTA-Touren")
