220V Power and ground issues on a cargo ship

I had no German 220V Plug,  just a Swiss 220V Plug without ground pin. So I had unwanted voltage between the power supply and the ground of the ship which I could feel by touching the power supply and the porthole (window) in the cabin at the same time. So I had to connect the minus from the power supply to the ground of the ship through the porthole. Problem solved :-)

Broken Fiber-Mast after a storm during the night in Gibraltar

Fibermast fixed with spare parts (whips) from the EzMilitary Antenna

The performance of the vertical EzMilitary Antenna was not really excellent! So I was happy to use the whips and the stainless steel Jaw Mount of this antenna to strengthen the broken fiber-mast :-)

eHam Review of the alpha EzMilitary Antenna.

Manual of the alpha EzMilitary Antenna - my opinion: only "Military" sounds good!

First try with the EzMilitary Antenna. The challenge was the heavy wind from the see which tipped the radial often over 90 degrees down to the railing. And I had to remove the white paint at the railing in order to give the Jaw Mount a good ground contact to the ship.
