I upload logs every few days to LOTW, EQSL and QRZ. If you need a confirmation on another online log resource, shoot me a message and Ill see if I can help you out.

I really enjoy getting QSL cards. I accept physical QSL cards via direct or via W2 bureau, though I much prefer direct. I do not require SASE/stamps. If you send me a QSL card for a valid QSO I will always return my card. If I recieve a card direct, you will get a card direct. If you do not have a QSL card to send, and want my QSL card, message me, Ill be happy to send one.

Short Wave Listeners welcome!

I started using HF modes in the begining of this year, mostly JT65/JT9. I have since moved to doing more SSB contacts, and I enjoy contesting. I have achieved LOTW Digital WAS, but look forward to getting LOTW Phone SSB!

Radio: Purchased and recieved a Kenwood TS-590sg on August 2nd 2017 to be my new main HF radio. If I have made a contact with you since that date, that was most likely the radio I was using.

Between January 17th and August 2nd my main HF radio was a Yeasu FT-450D. The vast majority of my contacts during that time period were made with that radio. I still use the FT-450D for portable work and as a secondary HF rig.

My main 2m rig is an Kenwood TS-700a. I also have the usual assortment of HTs and project radios.

Amp: Purchased and recieved an Ameritron AL-811 on October 4th 2017. While its a nice addition to the shack, I do not use it all the time. It certainly heats up the room!

Tuner: MFJ 986 Rolling Inductor is my main tuner. I also have a LDG AT-200ProII, but that doesnt tune my 80m half wave doublet that reliably, nor can I use it with my amp.

Antenna: Homemade 80m halfwave doublet, fed via ladder line to a 4:1 balun. I also have a Radioshack Discone for 2m work. Most of my contacts made between January 2017 and April 2017 were made using a Radio Oasis G5RV which I have in storage. I use end fed MFJ-1984MP and/or hamstick dipoles for portable work.
