I'm born in 1967 in North Norway.

Educated as a communications technican.

Lisenced in 1989 and been on the air ever since.

I am member off Mogruppen av NRRL LA3M ( http://la3m.no ).

I do HF phone , cw , digital and contesting.

I operate from mainly 2 QTH.

QTH1 is my homeQTH at the city of Mo i Rana in gridsquare JP76BH

My main station att home is the FTdx1200 from yaesu that has excellent tools fighting man made QRM here in the city. I truly love this rig. The antenna here is the Butternut HF9V vertical antenna and occasionally som wireantennas. The secondary rig is the TS480Sat that is connected to a pair of remoterig 1258 modems. The remote site is at QTH2 that is 50km west in gridsquare JP66MF. My antennas at this QTH is inverted L for 160-80-40m , Cushcraft R5 vertical from 20-17-15-12-10m and 3element yagi for 6m. Frequently I also use OFC antennas for 80-10 and 60-15m.

Lately I have been trying out deltaloops and sota dipoles to gain experiences with different antenna types and configurations.
The deltaloop is one antennatype I like more over other wire antennas at least for 30-10 meter.

One of my passions in this hobby is building infrastructure for my self and my fellow hams.

The leftmost picture is the MMDVM repeater covering a radius of about 25km. LD8MR B is operating on 434,850MHz with -2MHz offset. It consist of 2 FT7900 and a sinclair duplex filter and a X-50 repeaterantenna. The controller is a Raspberry PI mini computer and a arduino due with zum 1.0 card to interface the arduino to the two ft7900s.

My QTH2 is my weekend QTH at Nesna located in a coastal environment and is a nice place to rest and work radio.

I use my IC-7300 as exciter into Solid state linear Tokyo Hy Power 1.2 Kfx with abt. 6-700 watt cw/phone and 400 watt digital. My antenna on 160-80-40 is inv.L and an old cushcraft R5 do the job on 20-10m.
During summerseason the inv.L is substituded with OFC dipole for 80-10m

You may also hear me on 6m from JP66MF were I use my IC7300 or FT-817 on my 3ele beam.

If you want a sqed , just send me a mail or call me via the links mentioned later here and I'll see what I can do.

QSL via LOTW is most welcome , but I will confirm QSL in the way I recieve them. Cards recieved direct without returnpostages will be returned via bureau.
Local customs open my mail and take any money in the envelope. PSE use paypal instead. Greenstamps is at your own risk.

Other ways is HRDlog.net , ClubLog , eQSL.

The HRDlog on AIR states I'm using a 7200 , but the real rig is a 7300. I had to trick HamRadioDeluxe to think I'm using a 7200 ;-)

EchoLink 500035 and Dstar Simplex node LD8NN B CCS 8242023 at Nesna JP66MF (weekend QTH).

DSTAR Repeater LD8MR B CCS 8242017 or DMR 242904 Mo i Rana JP76BH.
