Living in the Netherlands, in the province Friesland with lots of lakes, canals, waterways,an eldorado for sailboats and motorboats, water recreation etc.

Married, with 1 son, Ham radio is one of my hobby's, one of the other is target practice and competitive fire arms shooting, revolver, pistol, Carbine.

Gear used at the moment:

Main radio Yaesu FT 2000 D.

2 x Yaesu FT 847 Collins filters and several modifications, Xtal heater, low noise BAT 85 bandswitch diodes, temperature controled fans etc.

Yaesu FT 100, all modifications to resolve the problems, and buildt in the AM Xtal Filter.

Alinco DR 605 2/70 in the van

Wouxun UDVP1 2/70 handheld

Icom Q7 2/70 handheld

Kenwood TH-F7E 2/70 handheld all with speakermike

Restored Heathkit SB-1000 new 3-500ZG tube (RF parts)

EQplus, Yaesu MD-1 and HC 4 microphones.

Homebrew 180 watt transistor class AB 2 meter amp ( 2 x MRF 247)

2 Daiwa CN801, Diamond SX 200 SX400, MFJ antenna analizer MFJ 269, And the gaggle of other measuring equipment, 4 channel 100 MHz scope, home made stuff like L/C meter, etc.


FD-4 Fritzel OCF with added coil and 30 feet wire on the short end for 160 meters, at 45 feet above ground

Homebrew inverted L 23 meters vertical ( 73 feet) rest sloping down to 30 feet high

Replaced the helically wound T antenna on the picture.

Ex Imax 2000, with radials, rebuild to work on 10/12/15,17, at 40 feet above ground

Diamond discone for local repeaters

Diamond X510N 2/70 at 50 feet

Flexa 23 elements 70 cm yagi at 50 feet

Flexa 11 element 2 meter yagi at 45 feet

Konni 5 element 6 meter beam at 40 feet

Homebrew 15 Dbd wi-fi antenna at 35 feet

Several homebrew antenna's for H.F. and 6 meter for holliday etc.
