       VK2XZ

Contest and DX station.

Hello and welcome.

No doubt we have just worked via QSO, contest point exchange or maybe you have just listened?

This amateur radio station is designed primarily for DXing and Contesting mostly (SOAB). The station is located on top of a hill with a 240 degree panoramic view and a clear take off in all directions!

VK2XZ has been QRV since 2014 at this particular QTH located 170Km S/W of Sydney. A very small rural village located in a place commonly known as 'The Southern Highlands'.

Prior to 2002, VK2XZ was very active especially on the 10 metre band CW and SSB with a large stacked array taking many contest awards and an impressive DXCC count.

VK2XZ was First licenced in 1995 as VK2PRL, being granted a novice licence completing 5wpm CW.

In 1997 was granted VK2XZ  (Completing the advanced CW and electronics theory).

VK2XZ is a competent 'FULL CALL' where now it is reffered to as an advanced license, where the credentials have decreased majorily and of course NO morse code.
