Hi! - My name is Brian and I was originally licensed in 1993 as a no code tech. I immediately upgraded to a tech plus in 1994. I am now an extra class and proud to be a outstanding, member of the Amateur Radio society. I am now back on the air with Yaesu FT-817nd 5W rig and a 75M Delta loop put up by My friends in the local ARES group. I have spent three years in and out of hospital and now am recovering. Feel free to check out my website www.wc4j.com all the gear is now gone and my station now sits on a table in living room where my wheelchair can go. There is still good fun on site including a excelent 160m Dx antenna that can be built with supplies from Home Depot for under $10 which I worked DXCC with in one Winter!

I QSL 100% EQSL LOTW AND PAPER

PLEASE IF SENDING ME A CARD DIRECT PLACE IT IN A ENVELOPE.

I chase counties and awards so please don't be surprised when my QSL shows up in Your Mailbox especially if your one of the rare ones.

I am a Letter sorter for the ARRL DX Bureuo I handle the WA4 suffix ending T

I am QSL Manager for W4PWC WW4BR

I am a Member of the Amatuer Auxilery and Serve as the OOC in VA

Hold OES ORS status and am highly active in EMCOMM support and logistics.

I am a great source of knowledge and am glad to help anyone that needs it.

[I will listen, and listen, and then listen again before calling.

I will only call if I can copy the DX station properly.

I will not trust the DX cluster and will be sure of the DX station's call sign before calling.

I will not interfere with the DX station nor anyone calling and will never tune up on the DX frequency or in the QSX slot.

I will wait for the DX station to end a contact before I call.

I will always send my full call sign.

I will call and then listen for a reasonable interval. I will not call continuously.

I will not transmit when the DX operator calls another call sign, not mine.

I will not transmit when the DX operator queries a call sign not like mine.

I will not transmit when the DX station requests geographic areas other than mine.

When the DX operator calls me, I will not repeat my call sign unless I think he has copied it incorrectly.

I will be thankful if and when I do make a contact.

I will respect my fellow hams and conduct myself so as to earn their respect.
